Purposeful Thrift

Every purchase and every donation helps us serve veterans, support our community, and keep our mission alive in Oklahoma City. In an effort to become a fully sustainable nonprofit organization, we launched Purposeful Thrift in the fall of 2025. The intention is not only to generate the funds needed to cover the foundation’s operating expenses—allowing every donated dollar to go directly toward programs and services—but also to create meaningful employment opportunities for veterans.

We gladly accept donations of gently used clothing, shoes, household goods, kitchenware, tools, small furniture, home décor, books, toys, and electronics in good working condition. Donations can be dropped off during normal business hours and directly support our mission of serving veterans and their families throughout the Oklahoma City area. Please note that we are unable to accept mattresses, box springs, large appliances, hazardous materials, or medical equipment.

Our first retail store location is located at 4616 N. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
