Volunteer Opportunities – Make a Difference in the Life of a Veteran
Volunteers are an essential part of the Warriors for Freedom mission. Whether you can give a few hours each month or are looking for a more regular opportunity to serve, there are many ways to get involved and make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
Volunteers support Warriors for Freedom in a variety of ways, including assisting at our Purposeful Thrift store, sorting and organizing donations, helping prepare for community events, supporting special programs, and assisting with outreach efforts. No matter your background or skill set, there is a place for you on our team.
One of our most popular volunteer opportunities takes place on the second Thursday of each month through our partnership with the Kaleo Foundation. Volunteers help pack Blessing Boxes and food bags that are distributed to adults, children, veterans, and families experiencing food insecurity throughout our community. This hands-on opportunity provides a direct way to serve those in need while working alongside other volunteers who are passionate about giving back.
Throughout the year, Warriors for Freedom also relies on volunteers to support special events, community outreach activities, Fishing for Freedom, veteran appreciation programs, fundraising efforts, and other mission-driven initiatives. Opportunities vary by season, and volunteers can participate as often as their schedules allow.
