Ride Services

Warriors for Freedom provides transportation assistance to veterans throughout the Oklahoma City metro area who may otherwise struggle to access essential services. We coordinate rides to VA and non-VA medical appointments, counseling sessions, Social Security appointments, food banks, and other critical destinations that support a veteran’s health and well-being.

Unlike many transportation programs, Warriors for Freedom is one of the few organizations in the region willing and able to assist veterans attending procedures that require sedation. In these situations, our team can remain onsite, sign veterans in and out of appointments when required, and ensure they return home safely following their procedure.

Because demand for transportation services is high, rides are typically scheduled more than two weeks in advance. While we make every effort to accommodate urgent needs when possible, advance notice helps us ensure reliable service for the veterans who depend on us.

More than just transportation, this program removes barriers to care, reduces isolation, and helps veterans stay connected to the resources and support systems they need to thrive. All services are provided at no cost to the veteran.
