Christina Sanders is a passionate and dedicated board member at Warriors for Freedom,
where she leverages her extensive military experience and financial expertise to support and
advocate for veterans and their families.

Christina has been a proud member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard since 2006,
enlisting as a Human Resources Specialist before being commissioned as a Ordnance Officer in
2012. She currently serves as the Support Operations Officer at 700 BSB as a logistician,
where she manages complex logistics operations and ensures mission success. Christina’s deep
military heritage includes her great-grandfather, who served with the 45th Infantry Division in
Sicily and was killed in action, as well as both of her parents, who are retired military veterans.
Their legacy of service profoundly influences her commitment to supporting those who have
served our nation.

Christina graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the
University of Oklahoma. Boomer! She furthered her education with an MBA in Accounting
and Project Management from Oklahoma Christian University while working at
Chesapeake Energy. During her 7+ years at Chesapeake, she held various positions in oil and
gas accounting, demonstrating her adeptness in gas revenue and gas marketing accounting.
Following her time at Chesapeake, Christina transitioned to the Citizens Bank of Edmond as an
Accountant and was later promoted to Controller. Currently, she serves as the Controller at
Dental Depot, where she continues to apply her financial acumen and leadership skills. Christina
also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Throughout her career and academic pursuits, Christina has been a committed volunteer with
several veterans’ organizations and committees, where she has worked to improve the lives of
fellow veterans. Her ongoing dedication to these causes underscores her belief in the power of
community support and service.

Christina is married to Lawrence Sanders, and they reside in Oklahoma City. Outside of her
professional and board responsibilities, Christina enjoys embarking on road trips, hiking, and
traveling the world, always seeking new adventures and experiences.
